individual Sessions

Therapy for anxiety, depression, relationship problems, self-esteem, self-care, developing or reinforcing boundaries, if you’re looking to integrate a significant event (whether it’s wonderful or traumatic), or getting to know yourself better. Individual therapy is for adults in Washington state. Tailored sessions are focused on defining and clarifying your goals, identifying blocks that keep you back, and practicing how to move forward in a new way.

1:1 Therapy Intensives

Virtual therapy intensives for focused processing or maintenance therapy work in Seattle and Washington State.

Intensive sessions

If you’ve been to therapy before and have a specific issue or topic in mind that you’re hoping to work through in one fell swoop, an intensive session format might be a good fit for you. These sessions are extended and leave us with a lot of time to stay in the feelings, thoughts, or web of connected dots, and bring fresh new insights or ideas about how to move forward in one day. Intensive sessions typically last 3 hours, and are focused on jumping right in to your goals. As opposed to a traditional therapy process, we will skip over a lot of history and other parts of your life, and work in a targeted, solution-focused way on one specific topic. Because of this element, intensives are reserved for clients who have previously been to therapy (with me or someone else) and have emotional resilience to tolerate an big chunk of work at once. Common intensive topics include:
processing a life transition, making a decision, preparing for or processing an emotional situation (e.g., a work review, a conflict with a friend, a trip to see a difficult family member), developing a self care plan, doing a maintenance check on your mental health and wellbeing

Intensive sessions are not eligible for insurance reimbursement.


REDUCED FEE THERAPY

To keep therapy more accessible to all, I reserve space in my practice for reduced fee sessions.

Reduced fee sessions

All sessions and all clients are eligible for a reduced fee session, and I appreciate your consideration in choosing to use this option. Reduced fees are somewhat negotiable, so I suggest you consider what fee would feel right for you before we begin our conversation about it. Therapy is an investment in your health, wellbeing, and relationships, and the session fee connotes a level of respect and commitment to your work and to mine. Fees for individual sessions can be reduced to either $130/session or $160/session. There are limited spaces available at each of these fee tiers, so availability is not guaranteed.
